your WILS 2010 committee
ANNE MARCANTONIO - PRESIDENT (ALSO EXTRA EVENTS/FUNDRAISING)
Anne lives in Henley in Arden with her husband Alex. She joined WILS at the first meeting back in December 2008, and came on to the committee in 2009 as Fundraising and Extra Events Co-Ordinator. Anne was thrilled when she was elected WILS' President for 2010, and - with the help of the rest of the committee - has an exciting programme planned for the year. Anne enjoys nights out with friends or entertaining at home, going to the theatre, learning Latin American and ballroom dancing, and nights in cuddled up on the sofa.
GEMMA PINFIELD-THOMAS ("Lady P-T") - VICE-PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY
Gemma Pinfield-Thomas, affectionately known to many as 'Lady P-T', is a full-time mum and part-time nail technician and complementary therapist. Gemma lives in Bidford on Avon with her lovely husband Guy and daughter Megan - not forgetting stepdaughter, little Gemma, at weekends/school holidays. She also cares for her elderly grandad and helps out at Meg's school's PTA events. Safe to say that she is a busy lady! But she was on WILS' founding committee and LOVES her roles as Vice-President and Secretary. Her hobbies include cooking for friends/family, hogging the mic at Singstar parties and behaving in a very childish manner with her husband and girls. She loves Marbella Breakfast cocktails, sunny days and spa breaks!
SARAH WILSON - TREASURER
Sarah lives in Stratford upon Avon with her boyfriend Matt. She joined WI Lite in January 2009, after moving her job from Birmingham back to Stratford. Sarah is a chartered accountant by day, so she was a natural choice for WILS Treasurer when she volunteered for WILS' 2010 committee at the October 2009 AGM! She enjoys going to the theatre, swimming, chilling out at the spa, travelling and spending time with her friends.
RUTH BLAYNEY - PROGRAMME SECRETARY
After a few years of living and working in various places around England and abroad, Ruth has recently returned to Stratford upon Avon and lives in the centre of town, happily within walking distance of the local shops and pubs. She joined WILS in the summer and has enjoyed her role as Programme Secretary very much so far. Ruth teaches in a local primary school and, since she spends her days with under 7s, has been grateful to WILS for the chance to meet people more her own age! She likes cocktails, chocolate hobnobs and watching films, and dislikes hoovering and early mornings.
